About Dr Li Chia Chong
Dr Li Chia Chong completed her double degree of Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2010 at the University of Melbourne, followed by internship and physician training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adelaide. She completed her medical oncology training at Flinders Medical Centre, Lyell Mcewin Hospital, Calvary North Adelaide Hospital and Royal Adelaide Hospital.
She then spent the next 18 months at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a clinical research fellowship position undertaking research in gastro-intestinal cancers and working on clinical trials for a variety of tumour types.
Li Chia commenced her private practice with Adelaide Oncology & Haematology in 2021. She is a member of multiple national and international oncological societies and remains actively involved in clinical research, teaching and postgraduate education.
Li Chia treats all solid cancer types with particular interests in gastro-intestinal, lung, breast, gynae-oncology and genitourinary cancers.
